Gavin Carter
Gavin has experienced different elements of the broadcasting industry and has amassed a wide range of highly specialized talents. He has been involved in projects all over the world in addition to directing, producing, and project managing several renowned events for Supersport International in South Africa.
Gavin has a creative eye that has made him well known in the broadcast industry. He performs best in a dynamic, creative setting and approaches every task with a positive, proactive problem-solver mentality and a high level of professionalism.
Ryan Toerien
With a strong background in broadcasting and media environments, studio and operations management, broadcast and cinematic cameras, multi-camera studio and outside broadcasting directing, and producing live and packaged content, Ryan is a multi-skilled broadcasting specialist.
Ryan Toerien has a pedigree in broadcasting unlike anyone else. With many years of experience at Supersport, Ryan has done it all. Ryan has produced and directed iconic shows and also run large multi-skilled teams that have created world class events.
Ryan has a keen eye for detail, exceptional performance under pressure, and the capacity to meet deadlines under pressure are all ensured by highly developed analytical competence, problem-solving, time-management, and organisational skills.
Paul Schoombie
Paul works with creativity and passion at the heart of everything he does. With an illustrious 20 year career at Supersport, he has directed, produced and project managed a large variety of events successfully. He has always believed that a successful event comes with the right mindset and the right team.
Through broadcasting, Paul saw industry and technologies evolve into the exciting world of media that we live in today. This combined with his passion for all things digital marketing, coupled with an ability to lead and inspire others lead him on a journey of designing and developing digital social marketing across multiple industries. Not only does he have an excellent keen eye for quality but also has a solid understanding of the strategic overview of the ‘big picture’.
Colin Douglas
Colin is our sales and partnership manager guru. He is generally the face of Planet Stream as he is normally the first point of contact for many clients and prospects and is responsible for ensuring client success. He loves the production media industry because of it is exciting, fast paced environment where no two projects are the same.
Colin has a thorough knowledge of the distribution landscape across OTT, mobile, social, digital linear, broadcast and production landscapes within the production industry. He works closely with the production teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, deliver agreed KPIs and exceed client expectations.
